As an IT Manager you will
You will oversee the management, maintenance, and support of all network, desktop, and IT infrastructure to ensure the seamless operation of technology across the organization. The IT Manager will be responsible for leading the IT Support Team, managing all IT users, and ensuring that all wired/wireless network devices, firewalls, desktop and laptop computers, and other IT resources are functioning optimally according to The Entertainer's best practice guidelines.
Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT Support Team, ensuring that all members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and best practices across the organization.
  • Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and resources effectively to support the organization’s needs.
Network & Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee the monitoring, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco switches for VLAN, routing, and switching.
  • Manage Cisco wireless controllers, access points, and Fortinet firewalls, including IPSec client VPNs and site-to-site VPNs.
  • Ensure the stability and security of the network by conducting regular security reviews and implementing preventive measures.
  • Supervise the management of Windows Active Directory Forest and Office 365 environments.
Security & Compliance:
  • Implement and maintain endpoint security systems, EDR antivirus, monitoring agents, and other security tools.
  • Conduct security assessments for all software deployments and ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Implement data and network security through firewalls, UTM, IPS/IDS, ACS, and VPN technologies.
  • Maintain and Manage compliance for ISO27001.
Systems & Application Support:
  • Provide oversight for hardware and software support for all desktop, laptop, and mobile users.
  • Manage and troubleshoot complex issues related to network systems, ensuring minimal downtime and quick recovery from incidents.
  • Support Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems, as well as Avaya IP Office 500 for VoIP trunks using SIP and clients.
Project Management:
  • Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Investigate, recommend, and implement new technology solutions to enhance network availability, security, and recovery capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for all IT-related procedures, network diagrams, and policies. User Support & Service Management:
  • Oversee the IT support ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Provide support and training for end users on IT systems, software, and best practices.
  • Setup, maintain, and monitor all automated alerts and notifications for critical IT systems.

 What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in IT management, network administration, and desktop support.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop IT staff.
  • Expertise in network configuration, security, and troubleshooting, particularly with Cisco and Fortinet products.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Active Directory, Office 365, and endpoint security systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience in leading IT projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Certified System Administrator
  • CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet Certified Expert
