The vision for the King Salman International Airport (KSIA) in Riyadh is truly a first of a kind sustainable airport and airport city development. The expansion anticipates accommodating up to 120 million passengers annually through 2030, quadrupling the current capacity of 30 million. The airport is expected to become one of the world’s busiest international hubs, accommodating 185 million passengers and up to 3.5 million tons of cargo annually by 2050. The airport and airport city development are looking to set a global benchmark for aviation experience.
With sustainability at its core, the new airport will achieve LEED Platinum certification by incorporating cutting edge green initiatives into its design and will be powered by renewable energy.
We are seeing an Internal Quality Auditor to join our Quality Team on the project. In this role, you will report directly into the Quality Auditor.

Responsibilities:



As an Internal Quality Auditor you will be responsible for independently reviewing and evaluating management systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with established standards, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions by conducting thorough audits across different organisations and teams on the project, ultimately aiming to maintain and enhance quality and operational efficiency.

Audit Planning and Execution:



Develop and implement comprehensive programmes for internal audit s based on risk assessments, applicable standards and employer’s requirements. Conduct scheduled and unscheduled audits of operational processes, documentation, and quality control procedures across various departments. Collect data through observation, document review, interviews, and sampling techniques. Analyse audit findings to identify non-conformances, potential risks, and areas for improvement.

Reporting and Corrective Action:



Prepare detailed audit reports documenting findings, root causes, and recommendations for corrective actions. Communicate audit results to relevant stakeholders including management and department heads, clearly outlining areas of concern and improvement opportunities. Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely implementation and effectiveness.

Management System Maintenance:



Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of management systems and procedures. Identify opportunities to enhance quality standards and implement process improvements. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to quality management.

Training and Collaboration:



Provide training to employees on quality standards, procedures, and audit process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, quality management, or business administration. Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or equivalent certification preferred. Proven experience in conducting quality audits, preferably in an engineering context. Strong understanding of management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 19650, etc.), statistical analysis methods, and quality control techniques. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and draw accurate conclusions from audit findings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present audit findings and recommendations to management. Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, conduct interviews, and facilitate constructive discussions during audits.
