Job Description

The Role:


We are seeking a motivated Photography Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about photography, eager to learn, and excited to contribute creatively to our projects. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of photography, including studio work, photo editing, and video editing.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities


  • Assist photographers during photo shoots, including setting up equipment, handling lighting, and ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Learn and apply photo editing techniques using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Provide support for administrative tasks related to photography projects, such as scheduling appointments, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
  • Accompany photographers on fieldwork, including location scouting, set-up, and logistics.
  • Conduct research on photography trends, techniques, and potential shoot locations.
  • Actively participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas for photo shoots and projects.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent
  • Strong passion for photography and a desire to pursue a career in the field.
  • Proficiency in photography equipment and basic knowledge of studio lighting techniques.
  • Familiarity with photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Portfolio demonstrating creative skills and photography projects is a plus.
