Are you a visionary concept designer who thrives in the early stages of architectural projects? Do you have the ability to translate abstract ideas into powerful sketches, diagrams, and 3D visualisations? We are seeking talented Intermediate Design Architects from outside the UAE region who are passionate about shaping bold, future-forward architectural visions and driving stages 0–3 of the design process.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the creative front-end design process, developing compelling concepts, massing studies, and spatial narratives that set the foundation for world-class architecture.
- Express ideas through hand sketches, rapid digital modeling, and dynamic design storytelling, ensuring design intent is clear from the outset.
- Develop and refine massing strategies, spatial compositions, and early-stage faade concepts, pushing the boundaries of architectural form and function.
- Utilize 3ds Max, Rhino, or other advanced modeling tools to create visually striking representations of design ideas.
- Collaborate closely with Design Directors and project teams to establish a clear architectural vision that aligns with client aspirations.
- Research and integrate emerging materials, construction methodologies, and sustainable design principles into conceptual proposals.
- Prepare high-impact presentations, mood boards, and design narratives that effectively communicate the story behind each project.
- Work across RIBA Stages 0–3 (Concept to Developed Design), ensuring creative ideas carry through from initial ideation to refined design development.
Key Qualifications & Skills:- Proven experience in concept design with a strong portfolio showcasing early-stage sketches, massing models, and innovative spatial compositions.
- Strong pre-concept and concept ability and proficiency in Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, or similar modelling tools to rapidly explore design possibilities.
- Expertise in 3D visualisation using 3d Studio Max, V-Ray, or equivalent rendering software.
- Deep understanding of architectural form, proportions, and spatial storytelling.
- Ability to think strategically and abstractly, translating initial briefs into visionary design directions.
- A collaborative mindset, working closely with teams to evolve concepts into compelling architectural solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to inspire clients and internal stakeholders with clear design narratives.
Requirements- Bachelors or Masters in Architecture
- Minimum of 5 years working experience
- Experienced working on high-end hospitality and bespoke residential/villa projects.
- Strong conceptual design capabilities which should be shown throughout your portfolio.
- Must be proficient using Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, 3D StudioMax, AutoCAD (2D and 3D), VRay, Corona, Photoshop and SketchUp.
- UAE experience is preferable but not essential on the design side however, candidates with experience of
- Architectural consultancy or developer background.
