Dubai , United Arab Emirates | Institutional Effectiveness | Full-time The American University in the Emirates is searching for an institutional Effectiveness Director who will be responsible for planning and development, research data collection, coordination of the College’s strategic plan, assessment, and institutional reporting. The roles includes working directly with the President in areas related to accreditation, planning, and documentation as needed.Qualifications & Experience Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in business administration / Mathematics / Statistics or any related field from an accredited university. 7 to 10 years of experience within a reputable university related to institutional effectiveness with at least 5 years managerial experience. Preferably bilingual (speaks English and Arabic fluently)Skills / Training / Knowledge Ability to multi-task Excellent with English writing including minutes or meetings, reports and emails Very high degree of independence, responsibility, and judgment. Maintains a professional image and relationships with faculty/students and all stakeholders. Experience in Quality Assurance, implementing and monitoring Policies and Procedures Must maintain confidentiality Accountable for the smooth running of the office, with all administrative responsibilities and tasks Effectively resolves daily matters independently Knowledge of University programs and operations including Administrative and Academic affairs is preferred.Job Description- Work closely with senior leadership to provide data, analyses and recommendations to support strategic planning, institutional effectiveness, resource allocation and decision-making to achieve the University’s mission- Oversee the implementation of institutional effectiveness systems according to accreditation bodies to integrate this in the auditing plan for all Academic and Non-Academic AUE functions - Lead and manage issues related to institutional data analysis, standards, and data governance- Provide leadership and direction for college-wide institutional research and institutional effectiveness activities- Meet accreditation requirements and manage reporting procedures for completing and submitting various reports as requested by accreditation bodies- Design, execute, and report quantitative and qualitative institutional research on Key Performance Indicators that support and further the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the university- Interpret results of data analysis and identify trends that determines future data information requirements, especially for institutional planning, research, assessment, and reporting activities- Oversee the software development process to provide effective software solutions that address various university functions’ needs- Provide day-to-day leadership to Institutional Effectiveness team members- Review all university Policy Handbooks and update/revise policies as deemed necessary- Participate in university committees as requested- Develop and plan the annual budget for IE department- Develop and implement strategies in collaboration with the university's advancement and fundraising team to identify and secure funding from various sources to support the University mission.- Cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring their continued engagement and support for the institution.- Perform any duties as assigned by the superiors.About American University in the Emirates (AUE):The American University in the Emirates (AUE) invites applications from well-qualified candidates for a range of faculty and administrative positions.
