AtkinsRéalis is seeking a qualified Civil Inspector with 8-10 years of on-site experience in Towers and High rise projects within Site Supervision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring construction activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:



Conduct inspections and audits of civil construction activities on Buildings projects to ensure adherence to design specifications, drawings, and applicable standards. Monitor and evaluate the quality of workmanship, materials used, and construction methods employed by contractors and subcontractors. Document inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and non-conformance issues. Collaborate closely with project engineers, designers, and stakeholders to address technical queries, resolve construction issues, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Verify compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the construction process. Provide guidance and support to construction teams, offering technical advice and recommendations to improve construction efficiency and quality. Conduct final inspections and prepare punch lists to ensure all deficiencies are rectified before project completion. Participate in meetings, workshops, and site visits as required to coordinate construction activities and communicate project status updates.

Qualifications:



Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Proven

experience (8-10 years) as a Civil Inspector or similar role, with a focus on tower projects.



Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and specifications relevant to infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with local construction codes, regulations, and standards in the UAE. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documents and drawings. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with project teams, contractors, and clients. Proficiency in using inspection tools, equipment, and software for documenting inspection results. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment. Certification or training in quality management systems (ISO 9001) and health and safety (OSHA or equivalent) is advantageous.
