Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infra-Utility CAD Draftsman to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the GCC, with a strong background in contracting. The Infra-Utility CAD Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings and plans for infrastructure and utility projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings for infrastructure and utility projects, including water supply, drainage, sewage, electrical, and telecom systems.
• Interpret and convert conceptual designs into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with local regulations, standards, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate and detailed designs.
• Revise and update drawings based on project requirements, site conditions, and client feedback.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to gather data, verify measurements, and ensure accuracy in the drawings.
• Maintain and organize a comprehensive library of CAD drawings and project documentation.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical) to ensure integrated and accurate project deliverables.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and documentation at the completion of projects.
• Participate in project meetings to provide input and ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CAD Draftsman in the GCC, with a focus on infrastructure and utilities.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure and utility projects, including water, drainage, sewage, and electrical systems.
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in the UAE.
• Previous experience working with contracting companies is mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
• UAE experience and knowledge of local infrastructure projects is highly preferred.

Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

• Ability to work using modeling software’s such as ( Revit , AutoCAD , Plant 3D )
• Ability to use clash detection software’s such as Navisworks
• Have strong engineering background in both mechanical and electrical field
• Have fair knowledge on the MEP & HVAC system components and uses
• Ability to use Microsoft office applications
