Job Description
I&C Engineer will carry out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, in a safe manner, of C&I systems & equipment to ensure high reliability, availability and reduced failure.
- Schedule maintenance of C&I systems and/or equipment , mainly related to RO Plant, in order to ensure that their recommended intervals of checks and tests as well as any part replacements are done in accordance to OEM recommendation and / or insurance guidelines.
- Carry our Root Cause Analysis for every unplanned outages or breakdowns that stems from his area of responsibility. Takes proactive action to mitigate and prevent such reoccurrences.
- Develop key concepts for C&I equipment that can be moved from Preventive to Reliability centred maintenance.
- Check and update C&I As-Built drawings and documents.
- Develop scheme logics to aid system understanding & trouble-shooting.
- Ensure updating of the same for any changes or revisions implemented.
- Ensure all technicians work with these updated drawings.
- Conduct appropriate training for junior staff to build their skills and knowledge to take added responsibilities.
- Train the local staff to integrate with the national objective.
- Conduct safety awareness training for the electrical staff including outsourced contractors personnel.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Requirements:
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree holder in Instrumentation or Control or Electronics Engineering
- 10 years’ experience of working with C&I systems, ideally in a power plant.
