Job Description

Job Title: Hygiene Helper


Location: Abu Dhabi


Job Overview:


Our client is seeking a Hygiene Helper to ensure cleanliness and hygiene across production areas, kitchens, and external spaces. Responsibilities include chemical preparation, waste disposal, pest monitoring, and maintaining safety standards.The Hygiene Helper will also monitor pest activity, maintain records, and uphold HACCP and GMP standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and effective teamwork.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and use cleaning chemicals safely, following standards.
  • Wear PPE and follow hygiene protocols.
  • Adhere to the cleaning schedule (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annually).
  • Dispose of garbage daily and report damaged bins.
  • Keep floors dry to prevent mold and moisture buildup.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping in all areas, including a 10m perimeter.
  • Report pest activity and ensure timely treatment.
  • Control access to chemicals and maintain safety records.
  • Report food safety violations and follow HACCP/GMP standards.
  • Keep records updated and follow health and safety guidelines.

Skills

Qualifications:


  • Diploma/ High school in any related field to Food
  • 0-1 Years of experience in Food manufacturing / catering / hospitality.
  • Good English communication and documentation skills.
  • Initiative-taking, results orientated and excellent personal skills.
  • Highly motivated and works under high pressure load.
  • Having a background in Health & Safety is an added advantage.
