Performs semi-skills (or skilled for experience mechanic) service and repair for equipment. Repairs and overhauls of systems like diesel engines, automatic transmission, pneumatic equipment, hydraulic equipment depend on the division. Checks and measures parts or reusability Inspects, checks and determines the nature of repair and examines parts to detect imperfections using measuring instruments as required. Uses and refers to service and operating manual while carrying out their assignments. Requirements Technical School graduate or equivalent experience 2 years experience Appropriate safety precautions and procedure Knowledge of basic tools, lubricants, equipment and service procedures.
