Job Description

HVAC Sales Engineer - Marine Sector

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sales Engineer to join our team, focusing on marine and offshore applications. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in HVAC systems with strong sales skills to drive business growth in the maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the marine and offshore HVAC market
  • Design and engineer HVAC-R systems for maritime and offshore environments, integrating solutions into vessel layouts
  • Conduct site visits to assess client needs on various types of vessels
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to ensure solutions meet client requirements
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales for marine HVAC projects
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the sales process and support installation and commissioning
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements in marine HVAC


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in HVAC sales, preferably with focus on marine applications
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, particularly for maritime environments
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience with retrofitting and refrigerant conversion projects
  • Familiarity with marine industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel as needed for client visits and project sites
