The HR Officer in healthcare plays a pivotal role in supporting the HR department to ensure the efficient operation of various HR functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Staffing:
- Assist in posting job openings, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Support the onboarding process for new employees, preparing orientation materials and facilitating sessions.
- Employee Relations:
- Address employee inquiries and assist in resolving workplace issues or concerns.
- Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist in developing, communicating, and enforcing HR policies across the organization.
- Training and Development:
- Coordinate and organize training sessions and professional development workshops for staff.
- Maintain training records and assist in evaluating the effectiveness of programs.
- Benefits Administration:
- Assist with employee benefits enrollment, changes, and claims.
- Provide information on benefits programs and eligibility to employees.
- Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process by tracking schedules and maintaining related documentation.
- Assist managers in preparing performance evaluations and provide guidance on improvement plans.
- HR Administrative Support:

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably within a healthcare setting.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- High degree of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Proficient in HR software systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
