Job Summary:


We are seeking a proactive and organized Human Resources (HR) Officer to support the day-to-day HR functions and ensure the effective management of personnel-related services, policies, and programs. The HR Officer will play a key role in employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, training, and ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws. The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive employee matters.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process from job posting to candidate selection, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires. Coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, and assist in the preparation of offer letters and employment contracts.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and workplace concerns. Assist in resolving conflicts and improving employee engagement.
  • HR Administration: Maintain employee records, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Process HR documents, including contracts, leave requests, and resignation letters.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Assist in managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment for employees. Manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, leave benefits, etc.) and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate employee training sessions and professional development initiatives to enhance skills and promote continuous learning.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the performance appraisal process, providing guidance and support to employees and managers in setting goals, conducting evaluations, and implementing improvement plans.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, government regulations, and internal company policies. Assist in handling labor disputes, government inspections, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on labor law changes.
  • HR Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards, and metrics, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of HR activities and employee information.

Requirements:


  • Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in HR management or a related role, preferably in the UAE.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Experience with HR software and systems is an advantage.
  • Education: A bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Language: Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Location: Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certification in HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple HR functions effectively.
