Hilong Pipeline Middle East Technology Industry Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated HSE Officer to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities:
Daily Safety Inspections: Conduct on-site safety inspections, ensure compliance with safety regulations, stop violations, and address hidden safety hazards.
Hazard Tracking & Reporting: Track corrective actions for safety risks, and escalate significant hazards to company leadership for action.
Fire Safety Management: Regularly inspect fire safety equipment, oversee equipment replacement and renewal, and organize fire fighting drills and training exercises.
Job Site Fire Inspections: Perform daily checks at workshops and job sites to eliminate fire hazards and ensure safe conditions.
Special Equipment Inspections: Perform monthly inspections on special equipment, ensure that operators have valid certifications, and monitor adherence to safety protocols.
Health & Environmental Inspections: Conduct inspections for health and environmental protection, ensure compliance with labor insurance requirements, and supervise proper PPE usage.
Training & Education: Conduct safety education and training for new employees and for employees at the post-level 3 position.
Night Shift Availability: Willingness to work night shifts when required.
Additional Duties: Complete other tasks as assigned by leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience: More than 1 year of safety inspection experience, particularly in painting operation sites.
Certification: Safety Officer Certificate or familiarity with EHS management systems is preferred.
Theoretical Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern environmental protection, occupational health, and production safety management concepts.
Standards Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards is a plus.
Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of national and local environmental protection, occupational health, and safety laws, regulations, and policies.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal communication and the ability to solve emergencies efficiently.
Planning & Execution: Excellent planning and execution abilities to ensure safety operations are carried out smoothly.
Personal Traits: Objective, rigorous, responsible, practical, and dedicated. High attention to detail.
Teamwork: Strong team spirit with good coordination and organizational skills.
