Job Description
To develop, implement, review and monitor the HSE management systems across the company.
To promote and instill a culture of ‘Safety and Environment first” across the company.
To develop a highly performing team. Provides technical support, mentorship and coaching to all HSE team members.
To manage staff effectively and according to organizational policies and legislation, especially equality, diversity, fairness and dignity in the workplace.
Provide technical support to management and other interested parties on the HSE management systems expectations and regulatory compliance.
Ensure the establishment and monitoring of Emergency Management Plans in all properties under YH's responsibility and that the Emergency Team members have the necessary training to tackle emergencies.
Establish HSE KPIs and targets, and HSE Monitoring Plan, aligned with company strategy and objectives.
Track and monitor HSE performances on all YOSH Hospitality properties.
Review, analyze and communicate HSE leading and lagging indicators for all relevant stakeholders.
Facilitate HSE meetings with HOD’s and prepare annual HSE reviews.
Set HSE annual budget and operating plan and ensure compliance with it.
Maintain accurate record-keeping and legal reference details and review regularly to ensure legal compliance.
Development of the digitalization of HSE processes and monitoring and performance measures.
Implement programs to ensure a safe working and living environment for internal and external stakeholders and monitor them. This includes but is not limited to HSE Inspections/Audits, incident reporting and investigation, hazard identification and risk assessment of all activities, Escalation Process, and definition of mitigation measures whenever necessary.
Ensure the training needs are established for the team and employees to ensure legal and other required competencies and general HSE awareness. This includes the existence of learning and development plans.
Promote stakeholder relations at all times, including those of internal and external relevance.
Perform other duties as assigned by the direct Manager
