Job Description

The Role
Our client, a fast-growing international company, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their new flagship office in Dubai. With operations spanning across multiple countries, including Singapore, Dubai, Australia, Indonesia, and the UK, the company is involved in sectors such as commodity trading, investments, and shipping services. Role Overview: The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing the HR function in Dubai. The role will involve handling key HR tasks, as well as supporting administrative and personal assistant duties for the company’s founder. This is a multi-faceted position requiring an individual with strong HR experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. - Support the company founder with administrative tasks and act as a Personal Assistant (PA) when necessary. - Handle visa processes, health insurance, and employee benefits for Dubai-based staff. - Ensure compliance with local employment laws and company policies. - Manage payroll, attendance, and HR-related financial activities. - Maintain employee records and manage HR systems. - Assist with the organization and scheduling of meetings, both local and international. - Provide HR advice and guidance to senior management and staff. - Ensure smooth coordination across various international offices, including Singapore, Australia, and the UK. - Take a hands-on role in developing HR strategies that align with the company’s expansion plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR role, preferably within an international company. - Prior experience supporting senior executives or founders in a PA capacity. - Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and employment practices. - Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks. - Proven ability to work extended hours and be accessible beyond regular office hours when needed. - Experience in a fast-paced and multicultural environment. - High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality. - Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
