HR Director DSC UAE (m/f/x)



We are offering an exciting opportunity for the HR Director role at DHL Supply Chain UAE. As part of our Strategy 2X30, the Middle East is a key growth region, and you will play a vital role in enabling our business ambitions through a bold people agenda—driving our vision of becoming a Great Place to Work for all.
As HR Director UAE, you will lead the HR strategy for our 400+ employee organization, aligning with the EMEA framework to support both short- and long-term business goals. As a key member of the UAE Senior Management Team, you will drive the people agenda to fuel sustainable growth. Leading a team of up to five, you will provide strategic HR leadership, ensuring HR initiatives drive business success. You will collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, build strong partnerships across DHL Business Units, and report to the Head of HR EMEA, with a dotted line to the Managing Director UAE. This role is based at our Dubai headquarters.

Your main responsibilities:



Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with DSC EMEA HR objectives, directly contributing to organizational performance and enhancing the employee experience across permanent, flexible, and contract roles. Employee Engagement and Development: Foster an outstanding people experience from attraction to offboarding, with a specific focus on employee engagement initiatives, DHL’s Certified agenda, and talent development. Post-Integration Process Optimization: Focus on refining HR processes and systems post-integration, ensuring standardization to align with DSC regional and global standards. Business Partnership: Provide HR support to the country board and management team, actively contributing to strategic planning and decision-making processes. Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop a team of motivated HR managers to effectively execute HR strategies, ensuring consistency with established guidelines and budgets. Digital Transformation: Spearhead the implementation of HR Cloud solutions and further drive digital transformation efforts, incl. AI within the company. Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to HR standards and guidelines, maintaining legal integrity and fostering a positive workplace culture in our international warehouse business. HR Analytics and Reporting: Ensure the delivery of consistent and timely HR metrics and reporting, leveraging data analytics to inform business decisions. Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of growth or process changes

Key Qualifications:



Extensive HR Leadership Experience: A minimum of 10 years in diverse HR roles, with substantial senior leadership experience in global organizations, preferably within the logistics or service sectors. Growth-Oriented Mindset: Demonstrated ability to drive business expansion, combining strategic thinking with a hands-on implementation approach Energetic and pragmatic Leadership: Proven track record of motivating and leading teams across various disciplines to achieve excellence and drive continuous improvement. Comprehensive HR Expertise: Deep understanding of HR processes, systems, and data analytics across the entire employee lifecycle, with a focus on enhancing employee engagement and operational efficiency. Complex Matrix Management: Experience navigating complex organizational structures and managing service providers based on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure seamless HR service delivery.* Innovative HR Mindset: Ability to leverage cloud solutions, drive digitalization, and explore AI applications to transform HR functions and enhance business processes.
