Job Description

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done.  Anantara employees always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues.   Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:


  • Respond to all housekeeping and Guest Service calls (FCS requests)
  • Ensure all guest requests are done in a timely efficient manner
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the pantries and stores
  • Check assigned Blocks pantries and stores for maintenance issues (fused lights) and report them to Housekeeping office.
  • Check assigned Blocks pantries and stores for required cleaning during the day
  • Ensure all health and safety concerns are promptly recorded and reported
  • Assist Room attendants when needed and bring them the necessary supplies
  • Ensuring the service areas and storage rooms are clean, neat and organized
  • Ensure that all HK Tuk Tuk are cleaned daily
  • Ensure that the pantries area is mopped several times a day.
  • Ensure that all the extra beds/ cribs are well maintained. If required need to bring attention to Supervisors/ Engineering Dept:
  • Ensure all emergency exit are clean, free of debris and the lights are working
  • Report any maintenance issues to Housekeeping Office.
  • Ensure the proper stocking and organization of pantries for room attendant
  • Report all shortages of linen stock, guest and cleaning supplies to their leader as soon as possible
  • Must maintain a safe work environment
  • Responsible for collecting recycling and garbage on a daily basis and their proper disposable
  • Ensure their reports are properly filled out and completed for the end of their shift with relevant information noted
  • Must be responsible for a master key and phone during their shift and ensure to communicate with the housekeeping office when required. 
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• New graduate or at least 6 month training in housekeeping
• Good interpersonal skills
• Fair English communication skills
• Eye for detail
