InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.


A little taste of your day-to-day


Your role will include but not be limited to:       


  • Manage phone calls and customer inquiries about the restaurant and menu, while taking reservations smoothly.
  • Ensure every guest feels welcomed and comfortable, providing prompt and polite service during their meal.
  • Seat guests and take initial drink orders to maintain an efficient flow of service.
  • Connect with guests to ensure they’re satisfied with their food and service, making their experience enjoyable.
  • Assist the restaurant manager with daily operations to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Address any complaints professionally, working to resolve issues and keep guests happy.
  • Be ready to assist in various positions within the restaurant as needed.

Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:


  • Previous experience in a receptionist role, ideally within a restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with restaurant reservation booking systems.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Have the ability to multi task and effectively react to changing guest needs
  • A natural and confident communicator both face to face and on the telephone
  • Organized and motivated and see tasks through to completion
