Job Description
· Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, addressing their needs, inquiries, and special requests promptly and courteously.
· Assist passengers with boarding, seating, luggage handling, and any other onboard requirements, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey.
· Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of passenger cabins and common areas, promptly reporting any issues to the Train Master.
· Adhere to safety regulations and emergency procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers throughout the journey.
· Ensure that onboard amenities, such as restrooms, refreshments, and reading materials, are well-stocked and in good condition.
· Assist with onboard catering services, including serving meals and beverages, as well as handling payments and inventory management.
· Be prepared to assist with emergency situations, following established protocols and working closely with the onboard supervisor and crew.
· Maintain clear and effective communication with passengers, crew members, and the onboard supervisor to ensure a coordinated and pleasant travel experience.
· Monitor passenger comfort and take proactive steps to address any issues, such as adjusting climate control or lighting.
· Collaborate closely with onboard crew members and the onboard supervisor to ensure a cohesive and efficient service delivery.
· Perform shifts and emergency duties when required.
· Welcome passengers at the station, assisting with inquiries, ticketing, and providing information on schedules and services.
· Ensure a smooth and efficient boarding process, assisting passengers with seating, luggage, and any special requests.
· Verify and process passenger tickets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with fare regulations.
· Maintain the cleanliness and organization of station facilities, including waiting areas, restrooms, and platforms.
· Make announcements regarding train departures, arrivals, and any important information to keep passengers informed.
· Address passenger inquiries, concerns, and requests courteously and promptly, ensuring passenger satisfaction.
· Manage passenger flow during peak travel times to ensure an orderly and safe station environment.
· Provide extra assistance to passengers with disabilities or those requiring special accommodations like pregnant ladies or senior citizens.
