Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Nurse to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort, safety, and the best possible health outcomes. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients in their homes, including evaluating their medical condition, environment, and care needs.
  
• Care Planning: Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
  
• Nursing Care: Provide a wide range of nursing services, including wound care, medication administration, monitoring vital signs, managing chronic conditions, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on managing their health, including medication management, dietary guidelines, and proper use of medical equipment.
  
• Health Monitoring: Regularly monitor patients’ health status and update care plans as needed. Report any significant changes in patients' conditions to the supervising physician.
  
• Coordination of Care: Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care, including arranging follow-up appointments, lab tests, and specialist consultations.
  
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including care plans, treatment notes, and any changes in the patient’s condition.
  
• Patient Advocacy: Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring they receive the necessary care and support while respecting their autonomy and preferences.
  
• Compliance: Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards, including those related to patient confidentiality, infection control, and safety.
  

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  
• Licensure: Must hold a valid nursing license recognized by Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
  
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a home care or community health setting.
  
• Skills:
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality nursing care in a home setting.
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
    
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in the field.
    
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
    
• Languages: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  
• Driver’s License: A valid UAE driver’s license is required, as the role involves traveling to patients' homes.
  

Working Conditions:

• Hours: Full-time position, with flexible working hours depending on patient needs. May include evening or weekend visits.
  
• Environment: The role involves working in patients’ homes, which may vary in terms of environment and conditions.
  
• Physical Requirements: The role requires physical activity, including lifting, bending, and assisting patients with movement.
