Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Talent to lead our HR function, with a particular focus on building a high-performing team and fostering a positive work environment.


The Head of Talent will be responsible for overseeing the entire HR function at Ecocoast, with a primary focus on HR general management and recruitment. This role will involve strategic planning, policy development, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to drive cultural and operational excellence within the company, contributing to Ecocoast’s continued growth and success.


Responsibilities


Employee relations and engagement:


  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work culture aligned with Ecocoast’s values and mission.
  • Address employee grievances and mediate disputes to maintain a harmonious working environment.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and retention.

Performance management and development:


  • Implement and manage performance evaluation processes to provide immediate feedback and growth opportunities for employees.
  • Lead initiatives on training, development, and career progression for staff at all levels.
  • Oversee succession planning and leadership development programs.

HR policy and compliance:


  • Create, update, and enforce HR policies in line with local labor laws and company objectives.
  • Ensure legal compliance with employment regulations in all locations where Ecocoast operates, and manage risk related to employee relations.
  • Maintain and improve HR documentation, contracts, and personnel files.

Compensation and benefits:


  • Design and manage compensation, benefits, and rewards systems that are competitive and align with company goals.
  • Analyze salary benchmarks and adjust compensation packages as necessary to attract and retain talent.

HR strategy and organizational development:


  • Collaborate with the leadership team to rapidly implement HR actions that support immediate business needs and growth.
  • Execute and oversee organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of restructuring, expansion, or new projects.
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a balanced and innovative workforce.

Employee health and well-being:


  • Lead initiatives to promote employee well-being, including health, safety, and wellness programs.
  • Monitor and address any issues related to employee satisfaction and mental health.

Recruitment:


  • Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent in line with Ecocoast’s growth and strategic objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Build relationships with external recruitment partners, universities, and professional networks to create a pipeline of talent.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts for key positions, including senior-level hires, ensuring timely and quality recruitment processes.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • At a stage in their career where they are ready to take on more responsibility and grow within a leadership role.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and HR policy management in a growing company.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE, KSA and UK labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Experience in fast-growing companies, handling growth challenges.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
