Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Secondary Head of Science to join our team in the academic year 2025-2026.
As Head of Science, you will:
Lead and manage a team of dedicated science teachers across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Develop and implement an engaging, ambitious, and inclusive science curriculum. Drive high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and professional development within the department. Ensure effective use of resources and lead the development of science facilities. Work closely with senior leadership to contribute to whole-school initiatives and priorities.

An experienced and qualified science teacher with a strong track record of success. Passionate about science education and able to inspire students of all abilities. A proven leader with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Skilled in curriculum development and innovative teaching methods. Experienced with IGCSE and A Level exam boards. Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Proficient in effective communication and collaboration. Innovative in their approach to teaching and learning.
