Job Description
Role : Head of Public Affairs
Location : Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
Responsible to lead the bank’s communication strategy and enhancing the brand visibility and reputation while effectively managing internal and external comms.
Key Accountabilities of the role
Strategic communications
- Develop a comprehensive communications plan that leverages brand promise and aligns with business goals and values
- Establish and develop influential relationships with key stakeholders including media
- Support in developing an integrated communication plan and initiatives for the bank including communication positioning, messaging and tactics
- Collaborate with senior managers to create messaging for key initiatives and corporate announcements
Writing
- Lead the development of marketing materials including press releases, speeches, content for digital channels
Execution
- Orchestrate and manage the pipeline of speaking engagements
- Manage the bank’s presence and engagement in different organizations
- Monitor industry trends and sentiment
Team Management
- Supervise and train a team of young professionals
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:
- Strategic thinker with deep understanding of the financial sector
- Advanced communication skills
- Advanced writing skills in Arabic and eng
- Advanced stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in comms, public relations , marketing or related field
- 15 years of experience
- Strong leadership and team management skills
