Head of Product (crypto industry experience required)

Hiring for a large crypto-currency company in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and vision for the company’s cryptocurrency offerings.
  
• Lead cross-functional teams including UX/UI, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support to deliver high-quality products that meet market needs and exceed customer expectations.
  
• Engage with customers, partners, and stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements and feedback.
  
• Monitor and analyze market trends, user data, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and strategy.
  
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including feature definition, design, development, and deployment.
  
• Ensure that products comply with regulatory standards and best practices in security and privacy, particularly relevant to the cryptocurrency industry.
  
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure technical feasibility and optimal execution of the product vision.
  
• Define key product success metrics and use them to drive business outcomes.
  
• Establish and foster a product culture that embraces testing, learning, and iterating based on user feedback and analytics.
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 10+ years of experience, with atleast 4+ years of experience in the related field.
  
• Extensive experience in product management, with a significant track record in the cryptocurrency or fintech sector.
  
• Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, digital assets, and the evolving landscape of decentralized finance (DeFi).
  
• Proven ability to lead and inspire product teams to deliver outstanding results.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying messages to different audiences, from engineers to executives.
  
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  

Desirable Experience:

• Previous leadership role as a Product Manager, Head of Product, or similar in a successful cryptocurrency organization.
  
• Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
  
• Demonstrated success in launching and growing innovative digital products in a competitive market.
  
• Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and customer-centric development.
