Job Description:

As the Head of Platform Assurance, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a comprehensive assurance program to ensure the reliability, security, and resilience of their digital platforms. This role involves strategic planning, risk management, and the implementation of assurance measures to protect against technical vulnerabilities and ensure our client's digital initiatives meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational goals while providing a seamless and secure user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform Assurance: Set and enforce policies across VOD, radio, web, and TV platforms to ensure security, performance, and resilience.

  
  

• Strategic Planning: Create and execute a strategic assurance plan aligned with company goals.

  
  

• Risk Management: Identify and manage technical and security risks, and maintain risk management policies.

  
  

• Security: Implement and monitor security measures to protect against cyber threats.

  
  

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards, staying updated on regulations.

  
  

• Incident Response: Manage technical breaches with a comprehensive response plan, including investigation and communication.

  
  

• Performance Optimization: Conduct load tests and optimize content delivery with real-time monitoring tools.

  
  

• User Experience Monitoring: Use advanced tools to monitor and analyze user behavioru and address pain points.

  
  

• Business Continuity: Develop and test Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and conduct impact analyses.

  
  

• Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing assurance team.

  
  

• Collaboration: Work with IT, legal, and product teams to integrate assurance across platforms.

  
  

• Vendor Management: Manage assurance vendors and ensure effective third-party measures.

  
  

• Reporting: Regularly update senior management on assurance program status, including risk assessments and compliance.

  
  

Technical Expertise:

• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS, GCP, and Azure, including cloud security and management.

  
  

• DevOps/SecDevOps: Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, and Ansible.

  
  

• Containerization: Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes.

  
  

• Security Tools: Skilled in SIEM, vulnerability management, WAF, DDoS protection, and endpoint security.

  
  

• Performance Monitoring: Knowledgeable in Dynatrace, New Relic, and AppDynamics.

  
  

• Scripting/Automation: Strong in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation.

  
  

• Data Analytics: Experience with AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse, AWS QuickSight, and PowerBI.

  
  

• Compliance/Governance: Familiar with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA, and governance frameworks.
