Job Description
The Head of People will leverage their extensive expertise in People & Culture to guide strategic business decisions, influence the direction and quality of work across the agency, and manage complex challenges with resilience and adaptability. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align the agency's people strategies with its broader business objectives, while creating an environment that empowers teams to innovate and thrive.Strategic Leadership & Business Impact
- Serve as a subject matter expert in People & Culture, guiding strategic decisions that impact the agency’s business units and portfolios
- Define challenges, implement impactful changes, and identify areas for improvement with strategic recommendations
- Influence the direction and quality of work across the agency, leveraging your technical knowledge to elevate standards
Talent Acquisition & Management
- Work with senior leadership to shape and influence the business structure and organisation
- Guide the talent acquisition team to develop and implement innovative hiring strategies to attract top creative talent
- Lead succession planning efforts to ensure leadership continuity and the development of high-potential employees
Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee pay and benefits strategies to ensure competitiveness, fairness, and alignment with business goals
- Regularly review compensation packages to ensure they meet industry standards and attract top talent
Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing issues and guiding team members in conflict resolution
- Manage Succession Planning programme to ensure key issues are addressed
- Design and implement performance management processes that align with our creative agency's goals
Learning & Development (L&D)
- Define annual budget for L&D
- Create and oversee learning and development programme that supports employee growth and career progression, including defined ‘learning hours’ and tracking/measuring of the process
- Create menu of options to plug skills gaps identified through succession planning and per request from employees
Immigration & Compliance
- Oversee immigration processes and ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations
- Manage global mobility initiatives, including expatriate assignments and international employee transfers
Data Collection, Analysis & Reporting
- Use data and analytics to drive decisions, measure the effectiveness of people initiatives, and provide regular reports to the executive team
- Collect and analyse data on key HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making
Experience & Competencies:
- CIPD qualification is a plus
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience in a creative or fast-paced environment is needed
- Strong understanding of talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and learning & development
- Extensive technical knowledge in HR, with the ability to influence business decisions and strategy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a passion for people
- Experience with HR technology and data analytics
