As a Head of Operations, you will report to the Managing Director, have overall responsibility but not limited to; Operations Control Center (OCC), Logistics, Fleet Maintenance, Bond & Main Stores, Equipment, Ramp Operations, and Health & Safety. In this role, you will
Leadership & People Management
Lead a diverse operations team, fostering an inclusive culture that promotes collaboration and open communication.
Establish clear objectives and performance reviews while ensuring a safe and enjoyable workplace.
Project Management
Manage large-scale projects efficiently, aligning operational plans with business strategy and adjusting for volume and labor needs.
Drive organizational change and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance project value and operational efficiency.
Operations
Assess seasonal impacts and implement strategic plans to protect service delivery.
Collaborate with Heads of Departments to drive efficiencies in alignment with operating plans.
Manage product supply to airport facilities, maintaining strong relationships with airline clients and resolving escalations.
Forecast operational and fleet CAPEX needs for 12-18 months, developing business cases for approval.
Maintain a 99.99% On-Time in Full (OTIF) delivery rate to airlines and airport facilities.
Effectively manage stand changes, rotation changes, and disruptions through resource management.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements for company vehicles and minimize fleet downtime through collaboration with local suppliers.
Oversee all storage operations, ensuring compliance with operational standards and readiness for menu changes.
Establish demand plans based on sales forecasts and adjust for seasonality.
Partner with Procurement to improve supplier lead times and reduce stock holding days.
Implement a stringent ramp auditing program with a review mechanism for operational excellence.
Engage with regulatory bodies to showcase Alpha UAE’s performance as a safe airside operator.
Ensure airside teams are trained in accordance with dCROM requirements.
Health & Safety
Exceed established Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs) and maintain Leading Indicators through transparent incident reporting and thorough investigations.
Monitor Lagging Indicators and develop Safety Improvement Plans (SIPs) in response to identified risks.
Approve control measures and ensure Risk Assessments meet acceptable standards.
Present AFS UAE business performance to stakeholders during monthly and quarterly reviews.
