Job Purpose:
To effectively manage and lead a bank Sales force, adhering to SIB policies and guidelines, and ensuring that target achievement, business development and high customer focus are maintained as per the strategic plan set for the Direct Sales Unit and the Retail Banking function as a whole.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Development and Aggregator Relations:
Identifies and pursues opportunities to enhance business development. Focuses on promoting direct sales and improving market share for increased profitability. Establishes new aggregator relationships while maintaining and enhancing existing ones. Collaborates closely with product teams to implement market best practices and grow the mortgage finance business through market insights and competition analysis.
People Management:
Supervises daily employee performance, providing necessary support and guidance.
Performance Monitoring:
Reviews internal reports and assesses performance against targets. Offers feedback and guidance for further actions as needed. Builds a committed and reliable team, providing constructive feedback and delegating responsibilities based on individual capabilities.
Customer Relationship Management:
Targets business sources and engages decision-makers to attract new business to the organization. Cultivates and sustains strong professional relationships with both existing and prospective customers, ensuring their needs are met and promoting additional bank products and services. Develops customer interview plans and analyzes feedback to promptly address any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
HR Development & Administration:
Review performance of employees to determine strengths and weaknesses and ensures provision of adequate training and development programs to enhance and upgrade their capabilities to perform at the required standards,
Participates in sourcing and attracting qualified candidates to work with the bank and ensures they are properly familiarized with the bank, its products and services before they assume their full positions.
Policies & Procedures:
Ensures subordinates understand and comply with operational procedures and guidelines, maintaining a controlled and efficient work environment. Upholds strict adherence to all bank policies and procedures.
