Job Description

We’re currently partnering with a leading bank in Kuwait to find an accomplished Head of Marketing & Growth to lead the development of innovative marketing approaches for their consumer banking products. This strategic role will be instrumental in driving the growth and profitability of their portfolio, including deposits, lending, and insurance – while aligning all marketing efforts with the bank’s core business goals.


As a strategic leader, you will manage product enhancements, segmentation, and customer-centric campaigns, all while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve market share growth and profitability.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


·Manages enhancing retail banking product lines, consumer deposit and lending portfolios, ensuring profitable and sustainable account balance and revenue growth.


·Defines target segments and strategies for products and bundles of products.


·Develop both short and long-term strategic business goals and ensure that it is aligned with the overall bank strategy.


·Set up the short and long-term planning for products, segments, and channel teams to ensure revenue and market share growth.


·Strategic development of the bank’s liabilities and insurance portfolios.


·Ensure the right mapping of value proposition and service level differentiation.


·Manage the annual rollout of the bank’s marketing plan.


·Develop blended marketing channel mixes (direct traditional channels, as well as social media platforms) according to the needs of the target audience.


·Manage the development of marketing planning strategies and strategic communication plans to attract identified targeted growth areas and leveraging segments.


·Utilize market research to create a deep understanding of specialised market needs analysis and utilise it to improve market mix strategies.


·Developing and leveraging an in-depth understanding of customer’s needs and behaviour and who have the potential for future growth.


·Identifying market and competitive trends that are impacting segment customers and those that are seen as opportunities for new business.


·Establishing financial targets for market share, salary transfers, product growth, cross-sell ratio, revenue, and profitability.


·Designing new strategies for new product introductions.


·Managing the Rewards Program by refining segments, promotions, and marketing campaigns.


·Coordinating at strategic levels with other functions across the business.


Competencies:


·Ability to conceptualise & research new ideas and analyse them


·Excellent presentation skills in presenting high-level segmentation strategies to top management


·Good knowledge of segmentation techniques


·Exhibit formal and informal leadership skills and a strong goal/results orientation.


·Ability to apply knowledge of segmenting and targeting, apply analytics to select and recommend target segments


·Ability to apply financial knowledge to establish facts and make valid conclusions
