For the role to comply with the UAE nationalization law, the bank must hire nationals from UAE.  As a staffing agency, we are assisting our client in meeting this legal requirement by seeking qualified candidates who can contribute to fulfilling this obligation.




We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior lawyer as Head of Legal to lead the organizations legal department and provide strategic legal guidance to the organization. The ideal candidate will be a UAE National with a strong background in corporate law, commercial contracts, litigation management, and regulatory compliance. This is a key leadership role responsible for safeguarding the legal interests of the company and ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the legal department, ensuring the provision of high-quality legal services to all business units.
  • Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, MOUs, and policies.
  • Oversee litigation processes, working closely with external law firms to manage legal risks and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations, including corporate governance frameworks.
  • Handle mergers, acquisitions, company formations, and liquidations in alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Advise the senior management team on legal risks, compliance issues, and corporate governance practices.
  • Develop and implement legal strategies to protect the company's interests and support business growth.
  • Represent the organization in legal proceedings, arbitration, and negotiations.



Key Requirements:
  • Must be a UAE National (Emirati).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in legal practice, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and corporate governance frameworks.
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing complex legal documents and agreements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage legal risks and provide strategic legal advice to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
