Job Description

eMagine is engaging on a pioneering opportunity for an exceptional Head of Generative AI to lead cutting-edge AI initiatives for a major entity in Abu Dhabi. This role is at the forefront of AI innovation, driving breakthroughs in large-scale AI models, deep learning architectures, and transformative AI applications that redefine industries.



As the Head of Generative AI, you will spearhead the development and deployment of advanced AI models, shaping the future of AI-powered solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in leveraging LLMs (Large Language Models), multimodal AI, NLP, and deep learning to create innovative, scalable, and ethically responsible AI products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, guiding AI research, engineering, and business units to turn cutting-edge research into real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Generative AI initiatives, aligning with business and innovation goals.
  • Architect and implement state-of-the-art AI models, focusing on large-scale language models, multimodal AI, and deep learning frameworks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and product teams to develop scalable AI-powered solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, driving AI research and development in areas such as AI ethics, bias mitigation, and explainability.
  • Partner with leadership to identify strategic AI opportunities and influence business decisions.
  • Ensure responsible AI deployment, adhering to global AI governance and compliance standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in leading AI teams and projects, particularly in Generative AI, deep learning, and NLP.
  • Expertise in transformer models, LLMs (GPT, BERT, etc.), diffusion models, and AI-powered automation.
  • Strong background in AI research, model optimization, and real-world deployment of AI-driven solutions.
  • Experience with cloud-based AI infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business strategy and impact.
  • PhD or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field preferred.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong proficiency in Generative AI, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP)
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT, LLaMA, or Falcon
  • Knowledge of multimodal AI (text, image, audio, and video synthesis)
  • Expertise in transformer architectures, diffusion models, and neural networks
  • Experience in training and fine-tuning AI models on large-scale datasets
  • Strong programming skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX
  • Proficiency in MLOps frameworks for model lifecycle management and deployment
  • Deep understanding of AI model optimization, parallel computing, and scalable AI infrastructure

AI Engineering & Cloud

  • Experience with cloud AI platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, Google AI)
  • Expertise in big data processing frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
  • Knowledge of Vector databases and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques
  • Familiarity with Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) and Reinforcement Learning

Leadership & Strategy

  • Proven ability to lead AI research and engineering teams
  • Track record of translating AI research into commercial applications
  • Experience developing AI-driven business strategies and roadmaps
  • Strong knowledge of AI governance, ethical AI, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to partner with executive leadership and drive AI adoption at scale


Research & Innovation

  • Published research or contributions in machine learning conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL, etc.)
  • Experience in AI model interpretability, fairness, and bias mitigation
  • Passion for staying ahead of AI advancements and applying emerging research
