Head of ESG & Sustainability

Role       : Head of ESG & Sustainability
Location : Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
Responsible of developing ADIB’s sustainability and ESG strategy and  coordinating the environment and social initiatives and the compliance to law and regulatory requirements 
    
Key Accountabilities of the role      
Result Indicators

• Developing, implementing, monitoring organizational ESG
• Review corporate activities and ensure compliance with ESG Policies
• Work with various business region to identify ESG related risks
• Develop the appropriate strategies to address the ESG risks and their potential impacts
•  Carry out ESG risk assessments 
•  Provide guidance and advice on ESG  requirements 
• Support the Management in driving the education, communication and implementation of the ESG management system across the company. 
• Support the leadership in developing and implementing proper environment management system 
• Provide safety practices and policy training 
• Ensure proper ratings and accreditation 
• Develop and launch an ESG report 

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree and above, with professional qualifications in ESG/environment health and safety 
•   Best to have related work experience at multi-national company 
• 10 years’ experience in  Environment, Health and Safety management
• Working knowledge in Environment Management Systems, Environmental Discharges.  
•  Good training & communication skill, capable of developing and delivering ESG related trainings indecently.
