Take over a key role as a Head of Engineering inthe Engineering department and be a part of this exciting adventure of never-ending growth and success.
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Engineering will be responsible for identifying short- and long-term technological solutions and will play a crucial role in setting the company’s technology strategy.
As a member of the executive leadership team; the Head of Engineering will focus on building a high-caliber tech culture, and vision, optimizing digital experience, improving existing systems, and will direct all Justlife folks in software development, mobile development, architecture, and quality assurance teams full of A players.
What we expect from you:

• Improve the digital experience of Justlife web and app users through product/technology improvements via software development
• Work closely with the Product organization to build effective cross-functional teams to ship products and features in line with the company's goals
• Collaborate and form partnerships with external & internal stakeholders to drive technology roadmap
• Create an environment that promotes engineering excellence by attracting and retaining high-performing talent from diverse backgrounds and designing effective organizational structure, processes, systems, and tools
• Identify opportunities to implement emerging technologies into Justlife’s existing practices and operations
• Unlock Justlife’s potential to innovate and differentiate itself from competition
• Collaborate and form partnerships with external & internal stakeholders to drive technology roadmap
• Optimize financial aspects of technology development and implementation by managing operating and capital budgets

What we are looking for:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8 to 10 years of managerial experience in high revenue and online traffic generating/driving marketplace or e-commerce companies
• Significant experience in building complex, large-scale internet/digital-based systems, high-performing marketplace applications, and development of applications and platform components
• Overseeing all technical aspects and managing multiple complex tech projects simultaneously that might include directing business technologies, software development, and vendor/supplier management across multiple countries
• In-depth knowledge of software engineering development lifecycle, web systems architecture, design and development of complex and highly scalable products using multiple technologies and languages
• Agile methodology, program management, and engineering execution skillset
• Experience in hiring, building, and leading top-notch engineering teams
• Strong relationship management (3rd party/vendors), strategy development, project management, problem-solving, and change management skills
• Solid understanding and interpretation of business models and the application of technology to implement and thereafter streamline them
• Integrating technology-based activities into the corporate strategy through effective relationships with key people throughout the company 
• Exceptional technical and non-technical presentation and communication skills
