Head of Copywriting (English & Arabic) – Dubai, UAE
Role Summary: The Head of Copywriting will spearhead the development of impactful, engaging, and culturally resonant narratives across various channels. S/he will drive the copywriting strategy, lead a team of copywriters, and ensure the tone and messaging for the brands reflect their unique identities and resonate with diverse audiences. This position requires a visionary leader who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about shaping brand stories.

Supervising: The team of Copywriters
Languages: Fluency in English and Arabic is a must, French is a plus
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership • Define and execute the copywriting vision and strategy for company brands, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Shape the tone, voice, and messaging of both brands across platforms.
• Establish streamlined workflows to enhance content production efficiency and ensure timely delivery.
Creative Development
• Oversee the creation of all written content, including digital, social media, email, in-app messaging, OOH campaigns, and more.
• Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
• Ensure the adaptation of copy between English and Arabic, maintaining cultural relevance and brand consistency.
• Present creative concepts and campaign ideas to senior stakeholders, securing buy-in and feedback.
Team Leadership
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of copywriters.
• Foster a culture of creativity, experimentation, and collaboration within the team.
• Develop clear performance goals, provide constructive feedback, and support team members’ professional growth.
Collaboration and Coordination
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including brand, content, product, and external partners, to ensure cohesive storytelling.
• Partner with Traffic and Project Managers to prioritize projects, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
Performance Optimization
• Analyze content performance metrics (e.g., engagement, conversions) to refine messaging strategies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate innovative tools and techniques to elevate copy quality.
Key Qualifications:
• 7 to 10 years of copywriting experience, with 2-3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in entertainment, music, streaming, or a related industry is preferred.
• Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing creative teams.
• Multilingual Fluency in both English and Arabic is essential and French is a plus, with strong skills in adapting copy between the languages.
• Strategic thinking, with the ability to craft compelling, on-brand copy that connects with audiences and drives business results.
• Experience creating content for multiple channels (digital, social media, OOH, in-app, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy in all content.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with creative tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AI writing tools).
• Experience in scriptwriting, UI/UX content design, and video production.
