Job Description

  • Ensuring that all food is prepared to high quality and presentation standards.
  • Negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers and vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best prices for ingredients and supplies.
  • Collaborating with the front-of-house team to create innovative and visually appealing menu offerings that meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Manage kitchen staff abd train them as needed

Skills

  • Be able to communicate effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house staff, as well as with customers.
  • Possess a deep understanding of different flavor profiles, ingredient combinations, and food pairings to create unique dishes.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and concisely, ensuring that all staff members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Be knowledgeable in different cooking techniques, such as grilling, baking, and frying, to cook different dishes to perfection.
