Job Description

A hair stylist that specializes in cutting, styling, coloring, and treating clients' hair to enhance their appearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Haircuts: Provide haircuts, trims, and styles based on client requests.
  • Coloring: Apply hair coloring, highlights, or balayage using safe and effective techniques.
  • Hair Treatments: Offer treatments such as deep conditioning, keratin treatments, and more to improve hair health.
  • Styling: Create hair styles for special occasions, such as weddings or events, including blow-drying, straightening, and curling.
  • Consultations: Advise clients on suitable haircuts, treatments, and products based on their hair type and preferences.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated with current hair fashion trends and styles.
  • Tool Maintenance: Keep hair-cutting tools sanitized and in good working condition.



Skills

  • Facials: Perform cleansing, exfoliating, and hydrating facial treatments.
  • Skincare Treatments: Offer advanced skincare procedures such as microdermabrasion, peels, or LED therapy.
  • Waxing/Threading: Provide hair removal services, including waxing, threading, and sometimes laser hair removal.
  • Makeup Application: Apply makeup for special occasions or offer daily beauty consultations.
  • Body Treatments: Provide body scrubs, wraps, and other treatments to enhance skin health.
  • Consultations: Analyze clients’ skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
  • Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic working environment and tools.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed on the latest skincare products and treatments to offer recommendations.
