About the Job:


An opportunity has arisen for a Guest Services Assistant to join our Telecommunications Team in Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Resort. The main duties and responsibilities of this role: 


  • Ensure that Wake up Calls is set correctly and punctually and that any failures are followed up.
  • Ensure that all faxes (especially for guests) are collected by the concierge and delivered immediately and they are recorded properly
  • To answer all phone calls according to the Jumeirah company wide standards
  • Ensure that guest messages in Opera are typed correctly following the Jumeirah standard.
  • Ensure that all operators are aware of the resort’s fire, safety and emergency procedures.
  • Regular update the digital phone book on the opera front office system.
  • Must be lead by example by demonstrating the Hallmarks and guiding principles in their role continuously.
  • Must be able to perform any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.
  • Fulfil any other duties as requested by management.

About you:


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:


  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry 
  • Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of Front office applications
  • Clear verbal communication in English is mandatory, any other languages are desired
