KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:



Strategic HR Leadership & Alignment
Lead the development of HR strategies for the Logistics Pillar in alignment with DP World’s broader corporate goals, ensuring integration across all business verticals. Define the blueprint for expanding logistics capabilities across geographies, collaborating with Group Talent Development and Talent Acquisition for effective sourcing strategies. Ensure all roles within the Logistics Pillar are aligned with DP World’s global job architecture to support organisational efficiency, productivity, innovation, and agility. Advise management on balancing HR strategy with business priorities, ensuring consistency within the Logistics Pillar while addressing operational realities and constraints.

Business Partnering & Organisational Development



Support regional HR leaders in implementing and executing HR strategies tailored to local priorities while maintaining consistency with pillar-level objectives. Advise and collaborate with business leaders to address organisational needs, including talent management, performance, succession planning, and leadership development within logistics functions. Partner with Logistics Pillar leaders to foster and embed a high-productivity organisational culture, supporting the design and execution of change management initiatives. Work with stakeholders to drive logistics growth, providing support for new acquisitions and organic expansion in logistics roles.

Talent Management & Workforce Planning



Provide strategic insights on workforce planning, talent management, and forecasting labour capacity to support the logistics growth agenda globally. Collaborate closely with Group People HR Centres of Expertise (COEs) and regional HR teams to develop tailored solutions for performance management, learning and development, talent reviews, and succession planning. Manage talent acquisition efforts, ensuring recruitment strategies align with business needs and employ robust selection methodologies. Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives to ensure the logistics workforce is highly motivated and aligned with organisational objectives. Advise on compensation and benefits strategies to ensure alignment with market standards and business objectives for the Logistics Pillar.

HR Processes & Change Management



Oversee the implementation of key annual HR processes, in collaboration with COEs, ensuring alignment with logistics-specific goals such as talent development, performance management, and rewards. Lead change management initiatives impacting the Logistics Pillar, ensuring smooth transitions and successful outcomes. Continuously assess and improve HR processes to ensure they remain responsive to the evolving needs of the business. Lead and support key projects for the Corporate Head Office (CHO), such as workforce planning, learning and development initiatives, and other strategic HR programmes to ensure alignment with DP World’s wider goals.

General



Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each team member is developed and evaluated against clear goals and objectives that are aligned, specific, measurable, attainable yet challenging, realistic, and time-bound. Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times, promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s principles, values, and culture. Ensure the highest level of safety is applied in all activities, understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies. Perform other related duties as assigned.

JOB CONTEXT:



The HRBP is a key strategic HR liaison and advisor between HR and the business, driving results across all generalist HR activities towards improving business performance. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the Ports & Terminals and Logistics Pillars, their financial position, mid-range plans, culture, and competition.
The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues and drives value-added services. The role ensures that talent development and management activities for the Logistics Pillar are well aligned with the overall Group People strategy and processes, while maintaining regional and local suitability as applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:



Minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience at a senior level, with Logistics or Manufacturing experience and multinational environment. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required in Human Resources, Business Management, Organisational Psychology, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Professional Human Resources Certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM). Proven experience implementing successful talent management, leadership development, performance management, reward, employee relations, and organisational development activities at the business unit level. Knowledge of industry trends and relevant employment legislation and ensuring business compliance. Excellent verbal and written English; additional languages are an asset.
