Job description

Charterhouse is working with a Global Organisation within the Energy Sector, who is looking to hire a Group HR Manager to manage their Human Resources function as well as managing compliance. A great opportunity for a HR professional to assist with the organisation’s growth.



About the Role
The HR Manager will be responsible for managing the full HR Function within the Middle East, and will be the main point of contact for all employees within the UAE, handling operations, as well as developing business strategy, implementing new processes and developing company policies and procedures, ensuring all policies are up to date and compliant with the UAE labour law.



The HR Manager will oversee a Team of 5 HR professionals, as well as payroll, therefore, must have excellent leadership skills. The HR manager will be responsible for employee engagement, employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, succession planning. Additionally, this role will manage the execution of performance management programmes to assess the team’s performance, staff appraisals and lead performance reviews. The HR Manager will manage compensation and benefit programs, such as salary structure, bonus and employee benefits, conducting market research to ensure competitive compensation.



The HR Manager will assist with the companies marketing, working closely with the Team to support in the design of company brochures, website, managing the social media and assist with redesign of marketing material for the BD Team. This role will also support with events and exhibitions.



About You
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have at least 5-6 years HR Experience with a minimum of 2 years within a management role. It is essential that the ideal candidate hold a Qualification within a related field with excellent knowledge of the UAE employment law.



The successful candidate will be a strong decision maker with experience working closely with Senior Board Directors to develop business strategy and contribute to the organisation’s growth.
