Job Objective:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually engaging and on-brand designs for a variety of digital and print mediums. This includes developing design concepts, producing visual assets, and working collaboratively with the marketing and creative teams to deliver high-quality design work that aligns with the company’s goals and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Creation:
- Develop creative concepts and design layouts for various projects, including marketing materials, social media graphics, website visuals, print advertisements, presentations, product packaging, and more.
- Ensure all designs align with the company’s brand guidelines and effectively communicate the intended message.
- Brand Consistency:
- Maintain consistency in design across all materials and platforms.
- Update and evolve the company’s visual identity when necessary, ensuring it stays relevant and modern.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, content, and product teams to understand project requirements and provide design solutions that align with business objectives.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that designs meet functional and creative needs.
- Creativity and Innovation:
- Generate fresh and innovative ideas for digital and print design projects.
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure high-quality, cutting-edge designs.
- File Management:
- Prepare and organize design files for production, printing, and web use.
- Ensure all files are optimized for various platforms and outputs (e.g., web, social media, print).
- Design Revisions:
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions to designs as required by clients, team members, or stakeholders.
- Maintain flexibility and adaptability to quickly modify designs to meet project needs.
- Time Management:
- Manage multiple design projects at once and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of all design assets.
- Quality Control:
- Ensure high standards of quality in design work, checking for accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail before finalizing designs.
- Proofread and review designs for any errors before submission or publication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within a professional design studio, advertising agency, or in-house creative team.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and other design tools.
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and web design.
- Excellent communication skills to understand and interpret design briefs.
- Portfolio:
- A strong portfolio showcasing a wide range of design projects, demonstrating creativity, versatility, and technical skills.
- Creativity:
- Strong visual design skills with an ability to think creatively and outside the box.
- Attention to Detail:
- Meticulous attention to detail and an eye for design precision.
- Time Management:
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while managing multiple projects effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of motion graphics, video editing, or web design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Figma, Sketch, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience in designing for e-commerce, branding, or social media marketing is a bonus.
