Our client is a regional market leader, specializing in the distribution of quality and reliable aftermarket automotive spares in the UAE, Qatar, MENA, CIS region. They deal with the distribution of Auto parts, Batteries and Lubricants products, etc.
The PRO Manager is responsible for overseeing all government-related processes, employee visa applications, and legal compliance for the organization. This role ensures that all business and employee-related transactions with UAE authorities, including MOHRE, Immigration, Free Zones, RTA, and CID, are handled efficiently while maintaining cost control and legal adherence.
Government Relations & Employee Visa Management
- Handle all MOHRE (Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation) and Immigration transactions, including employment visa applications (new, renewal, change status, and cancellations).
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and employment regulations.
- Manage all applications and transactions with Free Zones (JAFZA, Trakhees).
- Oversee the CID process and manage NOC issues related to company operations.
Licensing & Legal Compliance
- Oversee the renewal and acquisition of all company trade licenses, ensuring timely completion and cost optimization.
- Ensure all group companies comply with UAE government regulations.
- Manage and track all legal cases, ensuring proper documentation and coordination with legal authorities.
- Maintain and update records of all Power of Attorney (POA) documents, ensuring security and accessibility of originals.
Financial & Cost Management
- Audit and manage the petty cash expenses of all PROs.
- Track and optimize payments related to business licenses, visas, and other government-related fees.
- Work towards reducing operational costs by identifying cost-saving opportunities in legal and regulatory processes.
RTA & Transportation Transactions
- Handle all transactions related to the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), including vehicle registration (new, renewal, amendments), Salik, Darb, buying/selling of vehicles, and handling traffic fines.
- Ensure smooth processing of vehicle-related NOCs and compliance with transport regulations.
Customs & Free Zone Compliance
- Manage customs-related issues, including exemptions approvals and ensuring compliance with UAE customs regulations.
- Handle all JAFZA transactions, renewals, and operational compliance.
- Ensure all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements are fulfilled.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within the UAE, with expertise in government and PRO operations.
- Arabic Speaking
- Strong understanding of UAE labor laws, immigration procedures, and Free Zone regulations.
- Excellent organizational and documentation management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple government-related processes efficiently.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Proficiency in using online government portals (MOHRE, Immigration, RTA, JAFZA, Free Zones, etc.).
