Job Description

The Public Relations Executive is responsible for all licenses related to hotel business, residence visa of hotel colleagues, visit and tourist visa for guests, etc. He/She serves as a coordinator for the hotel provident fund and other related matters with the government regulations, under the guidance of the Director of Talent & Culture. Detailed role description as below: 


  • Liaise with the T&C team to ensure visa applications and cancellations are completed in accordance with the country law.
  • Process all government related certifications and licenses of the property to ensure legal hotel operations.
  • Track the expiry of team members' legal documents to ensure timely renewals.
  • Provide legal advice on government procedures and rules to ensure all concerned abides to government directives and laws.
  • Update all related files and team member records with the relevant information.
  • Inform the DoTC of any new Government regulations in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a positive image and good working relationships with all Government entities. 
  • Ensure that all licenses/certificates/permits, and related payments, are in order for Hotel Trade license renewal/update/amendment.
  • Takes full responsibility for Hotel employees residence visa issue/renewal/cancellation and related to this procedures and documentation, and handle guest visas issue/renewal/cancellation in timely manner.
  • Perform all duty with financial responsibility in mind and avoid any type of fines from local authorities.
  • Take care of entertainment permits and mandatory registration of any type of activities/initiatives, including, but limited, performers, food logistic, venue registration, ticketing, etc.*
  • Represent the Hotel interest in case of Labour disputes and advises on the best resolution.
  • Handle cash float and online finds in line with the Hotel Policies & Procedures.
  • Support Talent & Culture team for team events or administrative work, as assigned by the DoTC. 

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the UAE government and immigration procedures, visa processes, and laws related to the hotel operations. 
  • Ability to manage and track expiry dates for documents, licenses and permits to ensure timely renewal, with no disputes or fines occurred. 
  • Maintains a positive and professional image, build good working relationship with team members and government entities. 
  • Proven ability to provide legal advice on government or labor law related matters, and representation of the company. 
  • Experience in UAE hotel industry a plus, Arabic speakers preferred.
