Zurich Workplace Solutions (ZWS) is an entity from Zurich International located in the heart of the DIFC’s International Financial Centre. They provide localized workplace savings solutions that offer flexibility, control and make a positive difference to long-term financial security.

ZWS are the Administrator of the DIFC Employee Workplace Savings plan (DEWS), a progressive end-of-service benefit plan introduced within the DIFC in 2020.

To support our expansion, we’re looking for a Governance Consultant to join the Service Delivery department.

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the operation team in their day-to-day work from a compliance perspective. Ensuring adherence to the procedures of compliance within the Regulatory guidelines with regards to Customer KYC, Name Screening and other monitoring requirements as well as ensuring the daily operations checks are met. Provides guidance/ supervision to customer screeners.

• Responsible for the First Line of Defense Surveillance activities within the operations this includes Audit reviews, FATCA/CRS reporting, Quality controls, World checks/sentinel checks.
• Provide and maintain a compliant working environment by adhering to all laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Prepares and reports on issues to Head of Operations and MLRO.
• Maintain all sections of the Compliance policies and procedures relating to KYC.
• Review KYC documents according to the KYC policy and procedures
• Provide training to new team members on KYC related issues when required.
• Keep up with current events as they relate to Laws and Regulations.
• Maintain logs of customer information to ensure the efficiency of the KYC process.
• Constant interaction with other operations team, finance operations, and compliance.
• Performs other compliance related duties as required.
• Assists call center in operational duties as required.
• Act as operations main point of contact on ICIF controls and complete reviews on each control in line with our RACE framework.
• Act as operations main point of contact on audit reviews (Internal and External).
• Responsible for the preparation of FATCA/CRS reporting for ZWS to the trustee.
• Responsible for reviewing FATCA/CRS data regularly and, where necessary contacting customers to self-certify or recertify.
• Review OCED website for any FATCA/CRS changes and, where identified, raised these into our platform to ensure correct validation is done.
• Complete and or support QA reviews and corrections
• Act as a local SME on referrals on KYC for the first line of defense.
• Review and clearance of sentinel checks.
• Review KYC results on eKYC provider and, when required, suggest changes or corrective action.
• Act as a point of contact for eKYC provider in respect of any concerns or reviews.
• Support compliance with any findings as part of the regular monitoring.
• Support the broader operations team to ensure we meet our external commitments.
   

• Provide training to customer screeners and servicing team.
• Assign tasks and monitor work of specialist customer screeners.
• Ensure screening is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with SLAs.
