As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for maintaining and repairing hotel facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of hotel events and functions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with guests.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance or facilities management, preferably in a hospitality setting.
• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of building maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Certification in maintenance or related fields (e.g., EPA, OSHA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with hotel operations and guest services is advantageous.
