We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Practitioner (GP) - Wellness to join our healthcare clinic in Dubai. The GP Wellness will focus on preventive healthcare, health promotion, and holistic patient care. This role aims to support patients in achieving and maintaining optimal health through personalized wellness programs, lifestyle interventions, and chronic disease management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive wellness consultations focusing on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and overall health improvement.
Conduct health assessments, including physical exams, wellness screenings, and lifestyle evaluations.
Develop individualized wellness plans for patients, incorporating diet, exercise, stress management, and other preventive strategies.
Monitor and manage chronic conditions with a focus on improving the patient's quality of life.
Offer health education and guidance on nutrition, fitness, mental health, and stress management.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nutritionists, physiotherapists, and mental health specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
Promote awareness of healthy lifestyle choices and preventive measures through workshops, seminars, and wellness programs.
Keep up to date with the latest in wellness trends and healthcare practices.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patient interactions.
Provide teleconsultations and follow-up care as needed.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Valid DHA license to practice as a General Practitioner in Dubai.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a GP, with a focus on wellness and preventive care preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and holistic health.
Experience in chronic disease management and preventive healthcare.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills:
Certification or training in wellness, nutrition, or lifestyle medicine.
Experience in alternative medicine practices is a plus.
Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
