dnata Airport Operations’ vast ground handling operations successfully service the major global hub that is Dubai International Airport. We deliver a seamless experience from check-in to baggage delivery for more than 80 million passenger and 140 scheduled airlines annually.
As General Manager, dnata Global Load Control, you will lead and direct the dnata Global Load Control business for contracted customer airlines, ensuring that strategic and tactical plans are developed and implemented to deliver the set objectives and customer agreements.
You will be accountable for developing the global load control business in line with the one dnata strategy, achieving financial targets, complying with local, international and internal regulatory standards, managing operations efficiently and delivering a customer focused service. This is a full-time role is based in our Dubai office and will involve frequent business travel.
In this role, you will:
- Define and implement the business strategy (3-5 year) for the Global Load Control business.
- Create and deliver a commercial proposition of dnata Global Load Control to continuously grow the market position as a leading provider of load control services.
- Manage and develop relationships with key clientele, airlines, vendors, government authorities and other service providers, forging relationships that support and promote the business.
- Manage effective achievement of defined objectives through the establishment of commercial and operational KPI framework.
- Oversee the implementation of policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls to ensure procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled.
- Lead the dnata Load Control operation globally, ensuring the highest levels of service delivery in line with customer operating procedures according to Airport Handling Manual (AHM) and local regulatory requirements.
- Be responsible to keep the Board advised of all critical issues relating to the company performance and provide timely guidance on company’s business prospects.
- Be directly accountable for the financial performance of the global load control operation (Air Dispatch CLC & dnata dCLC) against agreed budgeted revenue and profitability targets, as well as for the budgeting and effective utilisation of overhead expenses, manpower resources and capital expenditure.
