Fundraising & Communication Officer (UAE National)

Black & Grey HR is hiring for a renowned University in the UAE. Our client is looking for a Fundraising & Communications Officer plays a vital part in coordinating and executing strategic communication efforts to support the university's fundraising and development initiatives.

- Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive external communication strategy focused on donor and alumni engagement through various channels (digital, print, social media, events).
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all communication efforts align with the university's branding and strategic goals, positively presenting this University to external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the university's strategic communication unit to coordinate efforts and maximize messaging impact.
- Multimedia Engagement: Lead and participate in multimedia fundraising events to increase donor engagement and support.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with administration, academic units, and development officers to align fundraising efforts with the university's priorities and ensure consistent communication.
- Market Research: Conduct research to gather insights into donor preferences, market trends, and fundraising opportunities relevant to the university.
- Donor Segmentation: Assist in donor segmentation strategies based on research to improve targeting and engagement.
- Proposal Preparation: Support the development of fundraising proposals tailored to different campaigns and donor segments.
- Administrative Support: Assist the Director of Advancement and Alumni Affairs with administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties as needed.

RequirementsQualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in strategic communications, preferably within a higher education setting.
- Languages: Proficiency in both Arabic and English is essential, with a demonstrated ability to write professionally in both languages.

- Fundraising Knowledge: Familiarity with fundraising principles and practices is an advantage.
