team in our Dubai HQ. The successful candidate will be responsible for
providing technical support and assistance to our staff on a daily basis, as
well as helping with more complex IT issues. This position requires a good
understanding of some advanced IT skills such as backend development and
coding, as well as experience in helping an office with standard IT needs. The
IT Support Specialist will work closely with our team to ensure that our
systems are running smoothly, and any issues are quickly resolved.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
At least 3 years of experience in IT support, with a solid technical IT background
Proficiency in PHP programming and web development frameworks, particularly Laravel.
Familiarity with front-end technologies including CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, and Vue.js (a plus).
Strong understanding of MySQL database management.
Experience with Apache and Ubuntu server configuration.
Knowledge of Zoho One is needed.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of Windows and MacOS operating systems.
Experience with network and server administration.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity and IT security principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using object-oriented PHP and core PHP.
Utilize front-end technologies such as CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, and Vue.js (a plus).
Work with PHP frameworks, specifically Laravel, to build robust applications.
Proficiency inMySQL databases.
Configure and maintain Apache and Ubuntu servers.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Windows and MacOS operating systems.
Administer networks and servers, ensuring security and efficiency.
Implement cybersecurity measures to protect IT infrastructure.
Provide excellent IT support and technical assistance.
