BHFT is a proprietary algorithmic trading firm. Our team manages the full trading cycle, from software development to creating and coding strategies and algorithms.
Our trading operations cover key exchanges. The firm trades across a broad range of asset classes, including equities, equity derivatives, options, commodity futures, rates futures, etc. We employ a diverse and growing array of algorithmic trading strategies, utilizing both High-Frequency Trading (HFT) and Medium-Frequency Trading (MFT) approaches.

We’ve got a team of 200+ professionals, with a strong emphasis on technology—70% are technical specialists in development, infrastructure, testing, and analytics spheres. The remaining part of the team supports our business operations, such as Risks, Compliance, Legal, Operations and more.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute equally to two core objectives: (1) developing and deploying your own high-performance FPGA-based trading strategy and (2) enhancing the performance of existing strategies for other traders using FPGA technology. Deploy and optimize algorithmic trading strategies using our custom FPGA solutions. Collaborate with our engineering team to tailor FPGA setups to enhance the performance of your strategies. Transfer and adapt your existing trading strategies to our ecosystem. Continuously monitor and optimize trading performance by making real-time adjustments to algorithm configurations. Oversee and report on key metrics, including risk, PnL, and other performance indicators. Coordinate necessary local support for smooth operational execution.
Qualifications
3+ years of proven experience in algorithmic trading. Strong background in the U.S. or Indian markets. Strong proficiency in Python / C++ / Rust for algorithm development. Experience in low-latency trading environments, ideally leveraging FPGA or similar hardware accelerators. Ability to transfer, implement, and adapt proprietary trading strategies. In-depth understanding of market structure, regulatory landscape, and current market opportunities. A results-oriented mindset with a passion for high-performance trading.
